The Sydney Film Festival features sixteen days of luxurious events, a sophisticated programme of more than two hundred films, awards nights and masterpieces that are viewed by more than two hundred thousand film fanatics every year.

Screening by The Sydney Film Festival is at the George Street Cinema located in the heart of Sydney, and at the Dendy Opera Quays located in the Sydney Harbour.
The Brisbane International Film Festival, also one of the most popular Australian film festivals was established in 1992. Since then, it has been the forefront of the revival of the Australian film industry. The Brisbane International Film Festival is presented yearly by the Pacific Film and Television Commission and is one of the premiere events in Queensland, Australia. The Brisbane International Film Festival showcases an assortment of programme. Like other Australian film festivals, the Brisbane International Film Festival features short films, retrospectives, documentaries, feature films, animations, experimental works and many more. The Brisbane International Film Festival offers all of these to film enthusiasts along with a combination of local and international films, great premiere events that captures the imagination and the art of the filmmaking industry.
All the Australian film festivals showcase a wide range of fabulous and celebrated films from all over the globe, documentaries, experimental works, children’s films, short film competition, retrospectives and a lot more.
